Hi, I’m Kimera Yvonne 🌻
I’m a doula, herbalist, and skincare enthusiast with a lifelong relationship to plant medicine and self-care.
From a young age, I began creating my own products to support my eczema, learning firsthand how powerful gentle, intentional ingredients can be. As a teenager, this curiosity turned into a YouTube channel where I shared handmade skin and haircare creations, rooted in experimentation, care, and community.
How The Sunflower Child Began
The Sunflower Child was officially born on January 11, 2021, with a simple but meaningful mission:
to bring clean, nourishing skincare products to my community.
Every product is made with intention, using high quality, organic ingredients and produced in small batches to ensure freshness, integrity, and care. I believe what we put on our bodies should be just as considered as what we put into them.
From Skin to Whole-Body Wellness
As my own journey deepened, particularly through living with endometriosis, my offerings expanded beyond skincare.
Inspired by supporting the body from the inside out, I began creating loose-leaf teas designed to nourish, soothe, and support overall wellness. These blends reflect the same philosophy as my skincare: thoughtful sourcing, gentle effectiveness, and respect for the body’s natural rhythms.
